Our Staff

Our staff here at Mountain Top Adult Day Center has compassion for older adults and individuals with special needs and are trained to give the best of care. Our staff consists of a Program Director, a Health Services Coordinator, an Outreach Community Coordinator, Physical and Recreational Coordinator, a Licensed Nurse, Certified Nurse Aides, Program Assistants and Drivers to implement the best program possible.

Our Clients

Many of our clients are older, physically/mentally impaired and require careful attention. Our clients require medication monitoring, assistance with mobility, transferring, eating and toileting. Our professionally supervised program is designed to provide meaningful social, educational and recreational activities, as well as community outings. MTADC is geared to enhance self-esteem and well being for the frail elderly, special needs, and at-risk population.

Our Facility

The Center is a 6000 square foot, 22 room facility with 6 baths, and a kitchen. This housing is a beautiful two story, newly renovated facility with a safe outside patio and fenced in outside area. For the protection of all (clients, staff, and volunteers), the Center’s doors are secured with a security alarm. The program is flexible and operates five days a week, Monday thru Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM. Additional hours are available with the Administrator’s approval.

Our Funding

Funding sources include private pay, the South Carolina Department of Human Services and the Medicaid Advantage Waiver. Fees are based on a set daily and hourly rate. Individuals may be eligible for partial or full coverage for services provided through the South Carolina Department of Human Services, the Medicaid Advantage Waiver program. Those individuals that do not qualify for Medicaid are offered competitive services and fees. Each participant may select to participate depending on their needs and as space permits. Participants may arrange to attend all or part of any day or week or attend on a “drop-in” basis.
